In his almost 20 years old relationship with music – Krisz Deak had become one of the most productive producer of dubtechno in Budapest. His unique industrial sounds and never ending rhythm made him unavoidable when it comes to electronic live acts. His love of music narrowed down to the genre of dubtechno – mixing the repetitive power of kicks with the transcendent patterns of dub. Through his passage he had several releases over Europe – with labels such as Deepindub, Similar Acustic, Doppt Zykkler, Axaminer Records, or Baum Records anniversary VA release in 2018. In 2019 also a vinly was born in production with Odrex Music, including a remix by Havantepe on the B side.
Krisz Deak is the partner of ZOL in Odum – also a dubtechno live act formation. This partnership of the two producers formed into the vision of Technodub Seance – the only 100% dubtechno orientated event series in Budapest. While their aim is to collect talented Hungarian producers and DJs, they’re also bringing prominent musicians from all over Europe, like Grad_u, Resoe, Marko Fürstenberg or Kenneth Christiansen.
Another milestone marks the story of Krisz Deak in 2019 when starting TDS’s very own record label, and releasing their first vinyl – TDS01. Soon followed by digital EPs, one of which is Curves – Krisz’s album inspired by the mystical Mars-like land of Tenefire. And freshly, this year TDS02 was released as well – with a YWF original in the company of three remixes by the crew.
